Refund Policy for Model Sales
All our models are packed in strong plywood crates using a superior internal restraint system or special double-liner cardboard boxes (for small models) using special foam and braces to eliminate transit damage. Finally, all models that we ship are insured by the courier. Your purchase is fully protected while it travels to you.
While ALL WOOD SHIPS is not responsible for shipping damage (the courier's insurer is) we still will do all we can to assist in repairing a damaged model - which can happen in spite of the best packing efforts. If the damage is minor (and customer wants to try fixing it themselves) we will support such effort by sending instructions, touch up paint and small replacement parts - all for free.
If damage is severe (and model needs to be returned to factory for professional repair) we will co-ordinate with courier to return to us (no charge to client), and ship again to client for free after repairs are done. This way the customer is fully covered, with the added bonus of support to fix some minor damage and so avoid the inconvenience of having to return model in most cases of any shipping damage.
Shipping damage must be reported to us by e-mail within 24 hours of delivery. If returning an item to us, you must request a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number from us before returning the item. We will not accept any item that is returned without a RMA number.
All Wood Ships does not pay for or reimburse shipping charges on items sent to us. If damage claim is accepted by courier, round trip shipping and repair costs will be paid for by insurer.
