CV-1 USS Langley circa 1930 plan

Built as the collier Jupiter, she was converted to the first United States aircraft carrier  in 1922 and renamed "USS Langley". In 1937 she was converted to a seaplane tender and re-designated AV-3. In February 1943 she was bombed by Japanese aircraft and scuttled by her escorting destroyers about 75 miles south of Tjilatjap, Java.
